London, England
In 1979, my wife and I visited London. We loved walking on the Jubilee Promenade on the south bank of the River Thames. We often stopped and just enjoyed the vista.
We also walked over the Westminster Bridge to the House of Lords and even managed to gain entrance while Parliament was in session. We sat on the famous green leather seats in the balcony as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher addressed Parliament. Unforgettable.
So this painting captures the memory of that day.
