My family and I have lived in the small town of Philomath for about 25 years. It is an old timber town surrounded by endless forests and hills.

This is Bald Hill Natural Area. This area has been developed into a great place for hikers and mountain bikers. It features beautiful wild flowers and delicious blackberries.

This view is from the top of the hill toward the little town. The mountain in the background is Mary’s Peak, the tallest mountain in Oregon’s Coastal Range.
