This is a miniature painting of a very special place to Oregonians.
Multnomah Falls is a waterfall located on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge. Spanning two tiers on basalt cliffs, it is the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon at 620 ft (189 m) in height.
The bowstring trust bridge was first built in 1884. The falls attract over two million visitors each year, making it the most-visited natural recreation site in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
In the foreground of the painting is Multnomah Falls Lodge. Build in 1925, it is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Most beautiful.
